It has come to our attention that some members of the group have been receiving nasty emails from other members who post to abuse the 'Ziners. Also there has been nasty messages posted, and although this is minimal, we need to prevent it. Freedom of speech and blah de blah, but while here on VR, we may not all like each other but we all respect each other, and some of the abuse spewing forth is unimaginative at best, and hurtful at worst.

I'd like to warn against such abuse, and urge you to contact either myself at is_my_voodoo_working@..., darren at daaren@..., or else the VR owner Broccoli the Evil One at broccoli@... if you have been receiving such emails. We will find the person responsible and ban them from the group and you can block all addresses they operate from. (We have ways of finding out what they are, muhahahaha)

Continual re-entry into the group after banning will result in us contacting the Yahoo Abuse staff and getting the account shut. If that doesn't work and the abuse gets more severe, we will trace the IP and contact the systems administrator.

Hello.
I would just like something clarified if you are able to find the time
to respond to my e-mail. When you send these messages politely asking your
members to refrain from abusing the rights of others either via the e-mail's or
the message board, are you referring to my request to stop having Islam
forced upon me? If this is the case then may I ask you what the purpose of this
group is? As I am to understand it this was set up as a bit of fun based
loosely around megazine on teletext, unbiased to any creed, colour or religion. If
this is the case then how can you hope to attract more people to the mailing
list if all we ever receive are messages about Islam? I admit that don't
receive as many as before but I believe that this is one of the factors that
contributed to the massive reduction of participation by other member's. This is
why I am pleading with you to attempt to stop this member who clearly has the
wrong reasons for joining the group. Thank you for taking the time to
respond to this e-mail.
