Most of the songs (apart from This I Love) I've heard just sound like a second-rate Alice in Chains......

Honourable mentions for Hot Chip, The Last Shadow Puppets, Black Kids, Hadouken! and probably TV On The Radio, although I've not listened to that enough yet.

Didn't say I didn't respect his opinion, I'm just surprised anyone likes such a derivative band. As for 'teenage stains', I can't really comment about that, all I know about that band and that album is they caned it at work for ages and it made me wanna stick knitting needles in my ears.

Just shades it over the Gutter Twins, I think. Good to see SubPop still delivering the goods after all these years.
