Tevez has left United.

Have to say I've found the cult surrounding Tevez baffling. No pace, no creativity, an abysmal first touch and poor in front of goal. Offers little besides his work rate.

The speed at which he swapped his United shirt for an Argentinian one at the league presentation after the Arsenal game tells you all you need to know about his respect for the club. Enjoy playing alongside Richard Dunne and Nigel De Jong next season, Carlos. Don't let the door hit you on the a*se as you go.

I'll be interested to see what actually happens at City this year. Linked with various players (as usual) but with Barry already there, Robinho and Ireland likely to stay, Tevez possibly en route, Santa Cruz on his way and strong links with Eto'o, they would have some decent players on their books.

Defensively they have a lot to address but if they can sort that out then it'll be interesting to see how they gel. I'm inclined to think they'll be hopeless regardless of who they sign because I don't think Hughes is the man for the job (or any Premiership club to be honest) and because the likes of Robinho are still likely to go missing in games.

Time will tell but this summer I can see them signing some good players yet still being relatively abysmal for a club with so much dosh.
