Anoraks

I know parents were designed to be embarrassing, but my dad's exceptional. He is a "locomotive ehtusiast".

Having observed the type of people that attend stream train events, I can only be thankful that he hasn't grown a beard and doesn't walk around covered in badges with his trousers tucked into his socks. However, last week, I found him in his room- waving his arms around pretending he was a train!
Sugared Venom

How old do you have to be before you can divorce your parents?

Don't You Want Me, Baby?

What with the '80s coming back into fashion thanks to the "I Love" series, I feel comfortable coming out from behind my glitterball and admitting that I am an '80s throwback and proud!

I shall don my lacy mittens, put a white stripe across my nose and style my hair into a mullet. So, stand and deliver, walk this way and wear those baggy trousers with pride!

And remember, kids- ridicule is nothing to be scared of.

Princess Psycho I notice there are a lot of people off school at the moment with this vomiting outbreak. I get this every time Victoria Beckham releases a solo single.

Harsh but fair.

Grillamo At my work, they sell Adidas trainers for six-month-old babies. How immoral is that?

Very much so... and a bizarre commodity to sell at a grocer's.

Subatomic Genius Old women with mobile phones look wrong! We've gotta stop this escalating.

Especially in Tesco.

McDonald's

I have come to the conclusion that McDonald's is fundamentally wrong (except for the Smarties McFlurrys). First, the manager's always a jumped up squirt from yourschool but in Year 9, so they think they're superior.

Secondly, gherkins in the burgers, need I say more? Thirdly, they're taking over every town like some world domination. I'll get back to you, my McFlurry is melting.
Sweet Smell of Psychosis

Fraid I'm not one of the ever-growing anti-gherkin lobby!

The End of England Is Nigh!

My chocolate money is in euros! THIS CANNOT NE RIGHT! This time next year we'll all be speaking French and wearing Lederhosen!

I don't want to live in a country where chocolate money is not in pounds! (Dramatic pause during which someone stops me from jumping.)
Milton And Me

Hmmmmm... Davord in Lederhosen- nah, can't see it and don't want to.

Manchester Meet

What a fun day we had! We went to the 'triangle' and recruited several new mini moshers to be Ziners, then a lady took a picture of my bag and said it was part of her art project and she would put it on display in a gallery.

We screamed Hail, Davord several (hundred) times and me and SWLTP became piercing buddies!
Le Enfant Terrible

The police have been on the phone- who has one of their cars, eh?

WLW

Yesterday, I saw a very amusing kids' show on Channel 4. There was a boy with a green cape, a round ball thing with short legs and a long tail. The cape boy went to see some talking monkeys and some guy stole all the air. Very interesting.
Xena Warrior Princess

Have you upped your medication? This all sounds highly implausible.

Up The Nerds!

I have something to share with all you lovely Ziners- I am a nerd. And I love it!

Shuffling around school all day, hiding in corridors, smirking quietly at all the popular kids behing my beautiful thick framed nerd glasses. Never have I been more happy. Throughout my childhood, I have tried to avoid being a nerd, but it was my calling. Long live nerds!
Ms Jane Lane

Nothing wrong with being a nerd- Jarvis Cocker makes a living.

Some Information About Northwich

* We have the oldest football ground in the world.
* We have more townies per square mile than anywhere else in Cheshire.
* We have a museum dedicated to SALT.
* We are responsible for The Charlatans and Placebo's drummer.
I really wish I lived in London.
Loominus Froot

A museum for salt? What are the attendance figures like? Seasonal?

Nooooooooo!

Just when I thought Steps had gone forever, the most irritating members- H and claire- have announced they will continue as a duo!

At least we've been warned. Now, how do we escape, WLW?
The One With The Mighty Antlers

Well, we dig a tunnel, taken with us loads of supplies and emerge in 2035.

The Cornflake Kid Did you hear the one about... oh wait, that one's not the funny one.

Is the funny one rude? Go on, I dare ya!

Brassmonki Does Dr Nick have a small broom cupboard at WLW Towers, where he sits and writes his nasty replies? Actually, I bet he has a bigger office than you.

Davord- check that out.

Queen of The Troubled Teens Oxygen is your friend.

No, Garthy Garth is my friend. Nice lad, strange but nice.

Ziners

I have a shocking suspicion that The Brigadier is well past his sell by date. Anyone with me on this one? All the signs are there. I mean, his enthusiasm for The Golden Jubilee? What other proof do you need? These pages are for the youth, you know!
Apeelable Cheese Girl

PS: Why does WLW keep going on about pencil sharpeners? Don't be so blunt!

Ziney Lookalikes

We all know that apparently Le Enfant Terrible looks like Jamie Oliver, but how about this- our very own Savage Cabbage is a dead ringer for Adam from The Adam And Joe Show!

Much more convincing than Enfant as Jamie Oliver, and nowhere as annoying! (That was an insult to Jamie Oliver, not Enfant!)
Milton And Me

Glad you clarified that- don't want another Zine war on our hands, ta.

Why I Hate Lists

1 They take up space that could be used for good letters, or my letters.
2 I can never think of good ideas for them.
3 Basically, I'm not very good at them.
4 As I have shown.
The Torture Garden

I hate them because we could be talking 'bout cats, chocs, Muse, ponies...

Boring Museums

Yesterday I was bored enough to read my mum's Book of Lists. It mentions the Museum of the Mousetrap which has a 5, 000-year-old Egyptian trap and a French trap shaped like a guillotine.

Sounds... erm... fascinating.
The One With The Mighty Antlers

That would be a big fat NO- makes the lawnmower museum a must!

Rayanne Graff: His name is George. Also, he started Spam.
Rayanne Graff: i spoke to him a couple of times and that was in October of 2009.
the doc: Wow, a proper old head
Rayanne Graff: Yeah, he was the 15th person to join.
satansrubberduck: I didn't directly start Spam. Also the proof of that long since disappeared.
Rayanne Graff: No, it didn't; the Spam spam spam you made in 2002 is on page 105 of the Spam board.
satansrubberduck: Oh. I looked for it years ago and couldn't find it. The colour tags are (thankfully) broken.
satansrubberduck: Odd to think it's been over a decade since I first got involved with 'Zine.
Claire: It's not odd to me since I've just had the exact same conversation with you...
I Cunt Spell: YOU'RE ALL OLD
I Cunt Spell: SO VERY VERY OLD
Captain Stupendo: SRD made an appearence holy moly haven't seen him on here for years
Maeby: JIM!
the doc: Wow, event Starws isn't here tonight

the doc: *whistles*
the doc: Ah well, off I go as well then
Rayanne Graff: Sorry, Stu; i was busy tidying things. xx
