Jezza I have Green Day, Incubus and Muse posters on my wall. What does that make me in your eyes?

A lad with great taste in posters.

A Leprechaun Called Steve Why won't you leave me alone! I'm my own person and you're a worthless nobody! Oh, hi, WLW. I was just talking about you.

Hmmmm. Thought my ears were burning.

TheUnitedTruth Finally, the sun is shining and the sky is blue. Looks like the summer is here.

Ernie's Bathtime Buddy

Is this referring to Bert or rubber duckie? Both of which are really good. Anyone else like these loveable scamps?

WLW, can we please have a pic of rubber duckie? And why is it that everyone (except me, girls) seems to have a Zine partner now? Have we become a dating agency?
Tinned Pineapple

No, we are not a dating agency! However, we do love rubber duckies.

10 Great Things To Do As Frontman In A Band

1. Sing
2. Scream
3. Swear
4. Stage dive
5. Hit the bassist with your microphone
6. Sign autographs until your fingers bleed
7. Shout anti-pop phrases in front of thousands of fans
8. Um... sing?

I really should plan these things.
Rustiredd The Squirrel Warrior

Unless you're a frontman from a boyband- in which case you forgot mime.

I don't care how much Muse go on about their classical new album. If they think I'm going to listen to Simon Bates preview it on Classic FM, they're sadly mistaken. DJ Gordy

I'm glad someone responded in to The Thrills' defence after the criticism here. Their last album Teenager was brimful of great melodies, catchy tunes and Conor Deasy's about-to-crack sweet voice. Then again, I like U2's new album so what do I know? Paul Howorth

Here's My Addition To Poetry Corner

There once was a boy called Kydd
Who ate 20 pies for a quid
When asked "Are you faint?"
He replied, "No, I ain't".
"But I don't feel as well as I did".

Thank you, thank you. No, you're too kind, thank you.

Is it me, or is Earls proving more anodyne in his tastes? Effusive approbation for the moribund Red Light Company, yet contempt for the intriguing The Whitest Boy Alive and Brakes. I demand a recount. Milky Joe

Hello Voiders. It's my birthday on Saturday, and I've booked The Dawn Chorus and The Incredible Flight of Birdman. It's free entry at the Globe pub in Hills Road, Cambridge. All welcome! Soundman Steve

More Issues of Capitalisation

I just had to run up here and tell you, WLW, that you are the most fantastic person who has ever lived.

What am I talking about? You got all the capitalisation of my name perfect! Just goes to show a little bit of pleading and a few carefully worded threats goes a long way. Picture of a moose by any chance?
moosesNOTmeese

Don't push your luck. A quick grovel will suffice for now.

So, I jokingly suggest that the current blighted music scene
is almost enough to make you learn for the return of New Acoustic and Starsailor and the next day Starsailor actually return? Ye gods, the voodoo death curse that was put on me for buying New Young Pony Club is kicking in. Cold Lazarou

I haven't stopped playing Morrissey's album since it came out. Every song is sublime, and no one can beat it for album of the year. Kerrie Zoe

Ziners

What on earth is going on with Captain Birdseye? He suddenly became really young and then aged really rapidly again. It makes you wonder what exactly goes into those fish fingers.

WLW, will you draw me a picture of some fish fingers, please?
She Who Lost The Plot

I would but the duck took ages, y'know, I'm all pictured out.

Leave Earls alone. I'm eternally grateful to him for bringing Hope of The States to my attention, as The Lost Riots is one of my all-time Top 10 albums. Sure, Sam Herlihy has a limited voice, but they were great. Misanthrope

After 40 years of going to gigs, The Killers at Cardiff CIA was the show of my life. For two hours, they were nothing less than miagnificent, with Brandon Flowers the ultimate showman. Long may they continue. Malcolm Wilson

Zine I have been forced out of hiding and compelled to write to you after seeing this letter on B*ckch*t: "Who really missed Noel's House Party?".

Oh, how I laughed. The very thought of anyone wishing to watch the naff-shirted one again made me laugh for 3 days. All those unfunny jokes- not to mention my arch-nemesis Mr Blobby!
Girl On The Oatmeal Box

The opening singles from U2's last three albums all went to No 1. What happened with Get On Your Boots? It may not be classic U2, but it's a sign of the increasing absurdity of the chart that it didn't go Top 10.

Finally- U2's new album is their first great one since Achtung Baby, and about time too. I just can't understand those who say Line On The Horizon is boring, yet they're the same people who like Radiohead. Matt Dawson

Squidgy Lobster Here's the pink sofa you ordered, WLW. Where do you want it?

Over there, by the lime green sofa.

Styluskid WLW, does it annoy you that I'm still using Christmas stamps in late July?

Like you have no idea.

Ernie's Bathtime Buddy WLW, if I send this now, will you say happy birthday to me on July the 24th, and possibly draw me a birthday cake? Too much to ask?

Too much on page one, yes. It'd be like THE smallest cake ever.

Jimmy: Holy sh*t everything's Barry.
Steve-Dave: Everything's better!
Puffalump: Barrier
Steve-Dave: The Barryest it's ever been
Jimmy: I can't wait for more "Important Barry and changes"
Steve-Dave: Well there will be some Barry and changes coming soon, because we need more donations. It no longer just takes £10 a year to help Barry survive
Steve-Dave: It takes like... £13
Steve-Dave: Barry has to walk 5 metres to his car every day... just to go to work and earn money for DVDs and comic books
Steve-Dave: His eyesight is so bad... that he has to wear glasses. Stylish rimless glasses which cost €250
Steve-Dave: His living space is so cramped... that h had to put his workout bench in the garage meaning he doesn't really use it any more
Steve-Dave: But for just €13 a year... You can help Barry afford a DVD that he heard was good but has been out for a while so it's not as expensive as new DVDs
Steve-Dave: Please... Give generously... And help save this poor man's DVD shelf from not being completely full because it just looks weird when it's nearly full. I mean, when it's half full, that's fine. But when there's only a few gaps left... it just looks kinda sad.... y'know
Steve-Dave: Thank you
Rayanne Graff: It scares me when people refer to themselves in the third person.
Steve-Dave: It scares Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV esq. too
Steve-Dave: Like my Grandfather, Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XII Esq. always said: "Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV esq., Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XII esq. gets scared when people refer to themselves in the third person, and Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV esq., Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XII esq. promises to never do that"
Steve-Dave: And like my twin brother, Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV.5 esq. (or Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV esq. for short) says: "Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV esq., Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV.5 esq. doesn't like when people refer to themselves in the third person. You and Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV.5 esq. must have gotten that from our grandfather, Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XII esq."
Rayanne Graff: You nerds crack me up.
Steve-Dave: Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XII esq., Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV.5 esq. and Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV esq. all try our best
Rayanne Graff: ... in the pants department.
