Albi The Racist Dragon -

The Wire is actually quite poor compared with the true genius cop show, The Shield.

The Shield is very good, I'll give you that, but it's like comparing Peroni Nastro Azzurro to 16 year old Lagavulin.

Oh... So that's what you mean when you said you spend your weekends 'chasing tail' and 'playing with 'dem bitchez'

I think that death by dangerous driving should really be headed under manslaughter, and thus get the same punishment. A car, when handled badly, is a deadly weapon. I do not see why people who have thus killed get off so lightly.

The world isn't run by weapons anymore, or energy, or money. It's run by little rabbits and zeroes, little bits of data. It's all just electrons.

I miss my childhood, where the existence of God, Jesus and all the rest of it was so obvious and apparent to me that the possibility that it might all be a huge shambling lie didn't even cross my mind.

Now I know lot more and even though it seems like it was all just probably b*ll*cks and I was essentially brainwashed I still can't really let it go, which seems like an unpopular opinion nowadays, particularly amongst my peers.

I have nothing but sympathy for the likes of Beck and Francis from Malcolm In The Middle, who were born into Scientology.

Hope is important.

I, for one, will welcome our new insect overlords.

Also, lots of drugs should be legal, I think. I am not sure how it would work. They are the most stupid things, I think, but it would be lots safer and cleaner, maybe? Also, all the extra tax (it is like cigarettes and alcohol) could be used for lots of really helpful things - it is like, lots of research and owl sanctuaries.

Also, also, population control, maybe? I am really not sure at-all. It is a horrible idea, I think, but I am really worried it is lots too many people now. I am sorry I am a terrible person.

It hurts too much not to try.
I will see you in another life when we are both cats.

Drugs and prostitution should be legal. People will always want those things, criminalizing them just makes them unsafe for the millions who shoot&shag.

Also, I utterly disagree with Barry's first post- which is the point I suppose given the title of the thread, and I know we aren't supposed to have a debate etc.

I'm just surprised nobody else is against Barry's view.

I'd like to clarify a few things regarding Barry's post. I'm waiting for a proper computer with Internet though to articulate my queries well enough.

Mine, mostly held in complete ignorance and I'd inagine easily batted down by anyone with any real passion and knowledge - IVF treatment shouldn't be available on the NHS - adoption should be the priority in such situations. Private transport for the not-yet-disabled is not the right many people think it is - the taxes involved should be increased significantly to subsidise cheaper, better transport especially in rural areas where many see a car as the only option.

i don't understand what Thomas means by the phrase not-yet-disabled.

C'mon Claire, thats cruel. We should lock them in a little box until they die from it. Its the humane thing to do.

Jimmy: Holy sh*t everything's Barry.
Steve-Dave: Everything's better!
Puffalump: Barrier
Steve-Dave: The Barryest it's ever been
Jimmy: I can't wait for more "Important Barry and changes"
Steve-Dave: Well there will be some Barry and changes coming soon, because we need more donations. It no longer just takes £10 a year to help Barry survive
Steve-Dave: It takes like... £13
Steve-Dave: Barry has to walk 5 metres to his car every day... just to go to work and earn money for DVDs and comic books
Steve-Dave: His eyesight is so bad... that he has to wear glasses. Stylish rimless glasses which cost €250
Steve-Dave: His living space is so cramped... that h had to put his workout bench in the garage meaning he doesn't really use it any more
Steve-Dave: But for just €13 a year... You can help Barry afford a DVD that he heard was good but has been out for a while so it's not as expensive as new DVDs
Steve-Dave: Please... Give generously... And help save this poor man's DVD shelf from not being completely full because it just looks weird when it's nearly full. I mean, when it's half full, that's fine. But when there's only a few gaps left... it just looks kinda sad.... y'know
Steve-Dave: Thank you
Rayanne Graff: It scares me when people refer to themselves in the third person.
Steve-Dave: It scares Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV esq. too
Steve-Dave: Like my Grandfather, Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XII Esq. always said: "Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV esq., Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XII esq. gets scared when people refer to themselves in the third person, and Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV esq., Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XII esq. promises to never do that"
Steve-Dave: And like my twin brother, Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV.5 esq. (or Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV esq. for short) says: "Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV esq., Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV.5 esq. doesn't like when people refer to themselves in the third person. You and Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV.5 esq. must have gotten that from our grandfather, Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XII esq."
Rayanne Graff: You nerds crack me up.
Steve-Dave: Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XII esq., Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV.5 esq. and Professor Barrington Cornelius Smashathing XIV esq. all try our best
Rayanne Graff: ... in the pants department.
