Any scene with Chief Wiggum, Lou & Andy always has me in stitches. As for a favourite episode, I'd say the one where Homer creates a vigilante law-enforcement group.

You mean Eddie right? Well you do if you're referring to the white policeman.

Wiggum: Bake him away, Toys!
Lou: Toys? You like toys don't you Andy?
Andy: Yeah I know

Thanks Barry, you've just ruined one of my favourite Simpsons quotes

Oh yeah, well what are you going to do about it? You'll release the dogs? Or the bees? Or the dogs with bees in their mouth and when they bark they shoot bees at you?

Do your worst!

You're absolutely right, and I am a dunce.

I can't believe the episode where Homer joins the navy reserve then gets called into action hasn't got a mention!

The bit where Smithers joins in with "In the Navy" is brilliant

The only decent bit in that episode is the peas bit.

oh and I HATE it when they end an episode with someone saying something that isn't funny and then everyone laughing for too long.

I get the joke, I just don't think it's funny and it's a real lazy way to end an episode.

That bit made me die a little inside. Whoever came up with that bit should be trapped to a surfboard, dragged out into the middle of the ocean, then tickled until he p*sses himself.

Then he can be brought back and returned home without pay for the day this all takes place. That'll learn 'im

My least favourite is probably the one where Principal Skinner is revealed as a fake.

Matt Groening's on record as saying he hates that one.

My favourite's probably Trilogy Of Error, a slightly later one than the 'golden age' but some brilliant gags, not least the setup to the '123 Fake Street' bit at the end.

He also loathes the film festival one with Jay Sherman. If you look at the credits, you'll see his name doesn't appear.

There are some good episodes dotted around after season eight, even up to the present day. But there's no magnificence like Last Exit To Springfield or Rosebud.
And far too many that treat the audience with contempt and are therefore beneath contempt themselves. The worst one I've ever seen is with the racehorse and the magical jockey land. I'm angry thinking about that now.

Mancomb Seepgood - Grog me.

Grog me.

The ten minutes that is The Shinning will always be my favourite piece of television ever I imagine. I've also been known to well up a little at the 'Do it for her' ending for why there are no photos of maggie.

Worst moment was That 90s Show. Destroyed a beautiful, set character history for sone cheap pop culture references.

Matt Groening is a hypocritical tw*t who has absolutely rinsed the Simpsons, at one point in the 90's he said they would NEVER make a film, then it changed to "We'll make a film when we're cancelling". He's just in it for the money and any respect for him I had vanished with that abomination "The Simpsons Movie".

Beyond the original crude design of the characters, Groening has very little to do with the overall quality of the best years. George Meyer, John Swartzwelder, Al Jean and to a lesser extent Conan O'Brien were behind the best moments.

Rayanne Graff: His name is George. Also, he started Spam.
Rayanne Graff: i spoke to him a couple of times and that was in October of 2009.
the doc: Wow, a proper old head
Rayanne Graff: Yeah, he was the 15th person to join.
satansrubberduck: I didn't directly start Spam. Also the proof of that long since disappeared.
Rayanne Graff: No, it didn't; the Spam spam spam you made in 2002 is on page 105 of the Spam board.
satansrubberduck: Oh. I looked for it years ago and couldn't find it. The colour tags are (thankfully) broken.
satansrubberduck: Odd to think it's been over a decade since I first got involved with 'Zine.
