Besides, in our office we all kinda made up our job titles, since we were never officially given one when we got the jobs.

Annoyingly, they had to be serious sounding jobs to do with what we do in the office.

The quite boring 'Technical Support Analyst'. Andy thought of it ages before I joined so I nicked it.

I wanted to use Cheif Executive Officer, but I don't think it would have gone down too well.

I try to call myself 'Graphic Designer and Web Consultant, Assistant to the Office Team Leader'. But I don't get very far with that.

Actually, on a technicality (The fact Andy left and came back) I'm technically 'Senior Technical Support Analyst'

I have decided to modify my custom-given job title. It is now:

Graphic Designer, Web Consultant, Assistant to Office Team Leader, and Full Time Manager Of Own Desk.

With that, I shall put in for a rise.

Yes. I think Phil said he was sick of seeing that ring on the front page, so Colin made a new thread, which put the ring about 100 pixels further down the page. Then the thread turned into one about job titles.

I had IT Overlord business cards once, they went down a treat, but my new official title is IT Service Manager, which means I get to sign holiday forms and discipline people for not buying milk in the morning.

The guy above me at Mosh, formerly head of PR, after doing a bit of maintinence now referrs to himself as 'Fungineer'.
