Mancomb Seepgood - Grog me.

Grog me.

A rather large 'meh' this year in the main. Enjoyed new Twilight Sad and Grizzly Bear a lot though. We Were Promised Jetpacks and the Broken Records one were nice as well.
If I could get an orange that was as low-maintenance as an apple, I'd be a happy man

John Cage Bubblegum -

I'd say this has been my favourite year for music for quite a while, but there hasn't been much of interest going on on the rock side of things. A few of my favourites would be:

2562 - Unbalance
Raekwon - Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II (far, far better than I expected)
Dusk + Blackdown vs Grievous Angel - Margins Music: Redux
Emeralds - What Happened
TV Ghost - Cold Fish
Neon Indian - Psychic Chasms
Yo La Tengo - Popular Songs
Toro Y Moi - Causers of This (not sure if this is out this year or early on next, but it leaked a while back and it's very good)
HEALTH - Get Color
Marco Polo & Torae - Double Barrel

There are a few more I've really liked this year but they don't spring instantly to mind.

Did anyone else love the Telekinesis album, by the way?

I bought it a few months back and it's f*cking excellent.
Whiskey, painkillers and speed will carry me there.....

I'll be grabbing it on Tuesday when I get paid, though it'll have to be online, as HMV just don't have it in stock at all. Unless a bunch of Planet Sound readers have bought them all before I could.

Alice in Chains - Black Gives Way to Blue. And f*ck anyone who disagrees. It was a much welcome return from a teenage favourite.

Rayanne Graff: His name is George. Also, he started Spam.
Rayanne Graff: i spoke to him a couple of times and that was in October of 2009.
the doc: Wow, a proper old head
Rayanne Graff: Yeah, he was the 15th person to join.
satansrubberduck: I didn't directly start Spam. Also the proof of that long since disappeared.
Rayanne Graff: No, it didn't; the Spam spam spam you made in 2002 is on page 105 of the Spam board.
satansrubberduck: Oh. I looked for it years ago and couldn't find it. The colour tags are (thankfully) broken.
satansrubberduck: Odd to think it's been over a decade since I first got involved with 'Zine.
Claire: It's not odd to me since I've just had the exact same conversation with you...
I Cunt Spell: YOU'RE ALL OLD
