Little Blue Fox. - Hope is important.

Hope is important.

It is a remix. It is pretty cool, I think. I do not like remixes so much - they are cheating a tiny bit, I think.

It hurts too much not to try.

It is really good! It is one of my bestest songs in 2009, I think.

Same I like the remix too.

Delirium Tremens -

I've got another vote for The Cave by Mumford & Sons. Those lyrics just cut through you, don't they?

Thinking about the Beach Boys earlier reminded me of the sheer joy of sixties girl groups and doo wop, so I've had a fantastic half hour going through my favourites and getting them on the iPod.

My Guy - Mary Wells
I Will Follow Him - The Chiffons
He's Sure the Boy I Love - The Crystals
Tears on My Pillow - Little Anthony & The Imperials
I Wonder Why - Dion and the Belmonts
I'm Not a Juvenile Delinquent - Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers
The Supremes, The Penguins, The Velvetones, the Five Satins.

I've got a massive doo wop torrent finished in half hour, I'm really looking forward to it.

I've also been burning through a lot of Northern Soul, Robert Johnson, George Jones, PiL, Wire and Magazine just lately.

Get yourself some Camera Obscura if you like that kind of stuff, you'll love them.

Mancomb Seepgood - Grog me.

Grog me.

The National - Terrible Love

Still undoubtedly the best band on the planet.

Genius

I hope some day, for some reason, David Duchovny is investigated by the FBI. Because that would make a great story.

heehee, I like that if you used a thesaurus to alter the title of 'Bad Romance' you might get 'Terrible Love'.

TO THE SEA...

Los Campesinos - the sea is a good place to think of the future

Not a band who I would have ever come by myself but a friend recomended them to me some time ago and have really got into them, this song has almost made me have a bit of a cry at times when sat by the sea.

I had this on repeat earlier today for like an hour... Just this one song, without getting bored of it. Last time there was a song I liked that much was.... I think it was Grace Kelly And that just discouraged you from clicking play.

Rayanne Graff: His name is George. Also, he started Spam.
Rayanne Graff: i spoke to him a couple of times and that was in October of 2009.
the doc: Wow, a proper old head
Rayanne Graff: Yeah, he was the 15th person to join.
satansrubberduck: I didn't directly start Spam. Also the proof of that long since disappeared.
Rayanne Graff: No, it didn't; the Spam spam spam you made in 2002 is on page 105 of the Spam board.
satansrubberduck: Oh. I looked for it years ago and couldn't find it. The colour tags are (thankfully) broken.
satansrubberduck: Odd to think it's been over a decade since I first got involved with 'Zine.
Claire: It's not odd to me since I've just had the exact same conversation with you...
I Cunt Spell: YOU'RE ALL OLD
I Cunt Spell: SO VERY VERY OLD
