The Damned Utd by David Peace. First book I've bought in ages and it's very good.

Zone 22 by Tig Hague and The Company by Robert Littell

Read Zone 22 now and its ok, its no The Damage Done but its an insight into the Russian prison system. The Company looks good as well, hopefully it will be up there with The Power of the Dog.

Rant by Chuck Palahniuk
The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-time by Mark Haddon
A Tale Etched In Blood And Hard Black Pencil by Christopher Brookmyre

Read the first two, Rant was good if a bit confusing and the curious dog incident was ok but a bit dissapointing considering the hype. Started on the Brookmyre and it seems like it'll be another great novel from him.

Best of his recent ones, A Tale Etched In Blood, in my considered opinion.
