Posting Poetry? Then please read me first.

Could i ask all those who use this topic to please make a single post for your works, you see, a lot of peoples poems are being pushed further and further back and being ignored due to them not being on the front page, to save this from continueing it would be better if everyone who wants to post in the poetry section makes a topic entitled

X's poems (insert your name where the X is) or something similar

This way all your work will be collected in a single place and most of the people who use this sections work will be kept fairly close to the front page (If not on it) granted some topics may get long so id say let it get to 70-80 pages then start a fresh topic if you feel the need to, or carry on the older one, thats down to your own discretion.

I'd ask if you could regard this as a general ruling from now on for this section, naturally there will be a week or two for you to get used to doing this but once thats passed if anyone keeps starting fresh topics for each and every poem i will be locking/deleting them and asking the poster to follow what has been said in this post.

Ive seen this method used on another board i frequent and it works perfectly, as for ntot seeing when you have a new comment, it has the word NEW next to posts with new comments, also thier is a drop down at the bottom of the page open this and select l'last post' then hit ok, it puts the posts in order of who replyed last.

As for only getting 40 views when you tried it, the explaination for that is kinda obvious. your post for all your work was forced further and furhter back due to others posting individual poems so less people go tto see it then they would if you posted lots of poems seperatly.

All i ask is we try this idea for at least a month or so, if it doesn work ill come up with soemthing else. Upto now though everywhere ive seen with this system for artwork/poetry it works fine.

As i said after a week or so if everyone else isnt doing the same then ill be Pm'ing the peopel who arnt to remind them and locking/deleting thier posts. (natuarally id give them time to copy and save thier work)

You have your fans on here Hikey. People are reading them, but most people cant reply to poems often.

i'm a fan i always go and read your new stuff, i think its emotive and inspirational, a very new very modern and very outreaching style of poetry and i love it.
