Georges Quote mentioned Kendal as the main focal point. I thought it would have been obvious. :-P

Well I didn't get it either, so

Leeds tickets confirmed, finally. I even have two spares cuz we all panicked and double booked. Dan, can I tempt you to the Libertines and Guns n Roses...?

Appreciated, but I can't give you a definite yes answer for a while yet, so if someone else wants them and can pay you sooner than me, go for them.

Kendal have announced the first set of acts playing:
Calvin Harris, The Futureheads, Erol Alkan, Wild Beasts, Plump DJs, DJ Yoda,
Dub Pistols, High Contrast, Elite Force, Craig Charles, OKGO, Scratch Perverts, Lancashire Hotpots and Eskimo Twins.

Most excited about OKGO and Craig Charles out of that lot. Still two more headliners to announce as well...

Lucky Beggar.

I entered a competition to win tickets to download. So I'm glad I'll be going to that for free, save a bit of cash.

Make sure you give Cheryl Cole a good bumming

It's only a matter of time. I answered the question correctly.

I've answered lots of questions correctly. Still never won a f*cking thing, mind.

Except for a fuchsia when I was young and cute and got to pick out the raffle ticket myself. It was partially open, and 'cos I'd memorised all our numbers before, I could see it was ours so I picked it. If I was Earl Hickey, I'd say karma's gotten me back ever since.

Flapdoodle - TO THE SEA...

TO THE SEA...

Although not posted on for a while I'm going to get involved.

So far my festival plans consist of Mighty Sounds Festial which is a ska-punk thing in the Czech Republic. Not been before (it'll be my first proper festival outside of the UK), know 1 or 2 folk who went last year and ae trying to get a bigger group this year.
Added bonus of it falls over my birthday weekend.

Other festivals looking into are Rebellion and some juggling ones (not really for this board though with it being music)

Just did Camden Crawl. Wet but fun. Gang of Four and Teenage Fanclub and such.

Thinking of Latitude now. Ridiculously good line up.

Grizzly Bear, The National, Belle and Sebastian, Sweet Billy Pilgrim, Spoon, Vampire Weekend, Daniel Kitson, Adam Buxton, John Cooper Clarke, Emo Philips etc etc.
If I could get an orange that was as low-maintenance as an apple, I'd be a happy man

What's the new Fannies stuff sounding like, Thomas?

I met their tour manager the other week and he reckons it's the best stuff they've done in years.

Was funny, when I saw you'd posted in this thread I had a feeling you'd say something about Latitude, it's got your name written all over it. QUite tempted meself, actually, even if it's just for Belle and Sebastian.

Rayanne Graff: His name is George. Also, he started Spam.
Rayanne Graff: i spoke to him a couple of times and that was in October of 2009.
the doc: Wow, a proper old head
Rayanne Graff: Yeah, he was the 15th person to join.
satansrubberduck: I didn't directly start Spam. Also the proof of that long since disappeared.
Rayanne Graff: No, it didn't; the Spam spam spam you made in 2002 is on page 105 of the Spam board.
satansrubberduck: Oh. I looked for it years ago and couldn't find it. The colour tags are (thankfully) broken.
satansrubberduck: Odd to think it's been over a decade since I first got involved with 'Zine.
Claire: It's not odd to me since I've just had the exact same conversation with you...
I Cunt Spell: YOU'RE ALL OLD
I Cunt Spell: SO VERY VERY OLD

the doc: Ah well, off I go as well then
Rayanne Graff: Sorry, Stu; i was busy tidying things. xx
