Steve-Dave -

Alice really helped me get settled into this site when I first joined. She was uberfriendly and was one of the reasons I kept coming back here. An all-round nice person, and funny and smart as well.

Also, for the record:

.Phil seems like a total geezer to me. He's the kinda guy I'd like to shoot the sh*t with over a bottle of good whiskey. I reckon he'd be a wicked person to have as a mate. He's got a tough exterior but I reckon he's got a heart of gold when he wants to.

Also, I'd want him on my side in a fight.
Whiskey, painkillers and speed will carry me there.....

Like Stu, Debs also seems like a genuinely nice person. Her style is both unique and adorable and her cartoon drawings are fantastic. One day, just like the little troll dude in Stephen King's Cat's Eye, I shall emerge from the skirting boards in Deb's bedroom, and absorb the very artistry of her soul.

Jamie shall not be forgotten!

Occasionally acidic, but very smart, he has turned his life around in about a year and should be proud of his achievements. Many people set out to do it, but just don't have the stones or perseverance. And for that, he deserves commendation.

And a smile:

The Underwhelmed One -

Alice is one of the nicest, kindest, most genuinely lovely people out there.
I am a rubbish friend to her (I have still not got her a birthday or Christmas present!!) and she has never been anything short of supportive, friendly, and generous towards me.

She really helped me so much in the second year of uni when my housemates were all being evil cows. Going swimming was pretty much my weekly highlight.

I miss her.
I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions.

Sarah is absolutely marvellous and it makes me sad we don't talk any more cos I miss our marathon rambles on MSN, and she was excellent company in person as well. I've had more interesting conversations with her over the years than you can shake a sh*tty stick at. She's famous for her beauty round these parts, but as anyone who's ever spoken to her will attest, she's got a fantastic brain as well - a winning combination

Few things would make me happier than seeing her get sorted out with a proper nice, steady bloke instead of these complete mentalists she keeps landing up with.
Whiskey, painkillers and speed will carry me there.....

Stu is never short of a decent anecdote, and comes across as a thoroughly acceptant and warm man. His down to earth approach to life and willingness to take an adventure underlies his intelligence and ability to make the most of a situation.

Laura has been absolutely incredible to me ever since we met. She's listened to my drunken ramblings and been one of the kindest and most understanding people ever.

Seriously chick, we need to meet up more often

Steve-Dave: Better the devil you know, though. How many of the sensible people would ever vote for Romney?
Walt Flanagan: They're going to be non-votes, not votes for Barack.
Steve-Dave: I doubt it. I'd say that with some of the stuff Romney will come out, people could vote Barack just to prevent Romney getting in.
Walt Flanagan: Well, he's so clearly a terrible human being.
Walt Flanagan: He's going to gaff his way out of the White House, even as the President is hated from all the sides of the spectrum that aren't starry eyed.
Walt Flanagan: The GOP has gone too far towards the Stupid Bigot side of things, it may take years to get back.
Walt Flanagan: I just think people who say that Obama would have to f*ck a white woman on television to not get elected are missing the danger.
Steve-Dave: Oh I think Romney will still give Obama a run for his money. Romney flip-flops a lot. Could appeal to a wide enough base overall to run it close
oatibix: Something's happened here.
Steve-Dave: This is what happens when you leave Colin.
Steve-Dave: And I don't mean "This is what happens when you leave, Colin", I mean this is what happens when you leave Colin. I left Colin and became all sensible and sh*t
Steve-Dave: I'm an equivocating motherf*cker
Rayanne Graff: Yeah, you're sh*t. i'm not sure about sensible, though.
Jimmy: Holy sh*t everything's Barry.
Steve-Dave: Everything's better!
Puffalump: Barrier
Steve-Dave: The Barryest it's ever been
Jimmy: I can't wait for more "Important Barry and changes"
Steve-Dave: Well there will be some Barry and changes coming soon, because we need more donations. It no longer just takes £10 a year to help Barry survive
Steve-Dave: It takes like... £13
