Good points. I may be regurgitating this and blasting from the past, but if it's a good idea.

Say we have 3 columns. Megazine letters, then a mod (or mods) guided personal column) and then a weekly kind of...I know i'm going to be pelted for this...Zine/VR soap or story thing that would be updated weekly by volunteers. Granted, inspiration hit me (and many rocks will be for even mentioning this idea) when browsing this this thread

In my opinion, Alan has been very good in that sense in this column, and people jsut haven't been interested in it. Waste of space.


i enjoy alan's writing very much, yours too chris, but i often agree with your points which you make very thoroughly and i find myself with little to add.

the idea of a "VR soap" doesn't really appeal to me but i think at the moment anything is worth a try.

Yeah. It'd be a temporary thing I'd imagine, something that'd peeter out with lack of intrest, but perhaps it'd be intresting in the short term. We've got enough talented writers on here so it could work for a while.

I imagine whatever sort of resussatation is going to go on here, It'll require much more involvement from a lot more of the regulars.
