I admit that I don't really know much about this, but I honestly don't understand why Glazier was so determined to buy the club. Why would you want to own a football club if owning it meant being hated by all the fans and potentially destroying it altogether? When he started getting death threats and saw effigies of himself being hanged, did he not think 'hey, maybe this isn't such a good move after all'?
Mental note, re being the Fonz.
Mark, you are not the Fonz.

Coz he knows they'll grow out of it when they start being successful next season?

Record season ticket sales, I heard somewhere this week.

Thats true I suppose, you'll have to start of at the North Western League so I hear.
Heard Brian Kidd was offered the job of managing the new club.
I suppose you won't get the hangers on and the glory hunters with this new club and you'll all be genuine Man Utd fans

I don't know where i stand with this. On paper this is a good move, but I support Manchester United, no other english club. I hate Glazer but i also hate the thought of abondoning the club i've supported since a kid.

Don't believe the hype. United have on average around 300-500 non-renewals per season, so why would that figure decrease so significantly after a disappointing season? Neither me nor my dad have renewed for next season, as it goes. And not because we haven't won anything, before any comedian comes out with that.

I won't stop supporting United, but I'm f*cked if I'm going to fund Glazer's takeover by giving him £500 of my money.

B*ll*cks and double b*ll*cks.

Im not explaining again because you obviously have no interest in reading what Ive said on this matter about Glazer.

and the Season ticket sales were record, but uh oh thats because they converted League Match Ticket Books (LMTBs) into ST's. So basically what happend was 2k people sacked off season tickets & LMTBs so united hawked around all the spares (even to me and Ive not been a member for years) then converted a few thousand books to Season Tickets. Memberships are already down by about 10k too.

But then it's you who loses out at the end of the day by not getting to see the matches. And of course Man Utd who do need the f*cking money to attempt to get them out of all this debt, of course.

I've supported them since I was a little kid but have never gotten to see them because the season ticket holders take up all the seats. it's really p*ssing me off how so many people are being such d*cks about it. Yes, Glazer's bought the club... but for the moment, it's still got the same manager, and the same players, with the only difference being the owner. It was obvious that the club itself didn't want Glazer to take over but what could they do about it??? Absolutely f*ck all is the answer. He bought the shares... and thats that. Fair enough, it's sh*t that he has, it's f*cked up manchester utd being the richest football club around, but they're still the same club underneath.

'I've supported them since I was a little kid but have never gotten to see them'

So you've never been able to get hold of a ticket, for any game? Have you even tried? What about the League Cup? Those games are rarely sold out. No wonder people take the p*ss out of United fans when some of them come out with stuff like that. How dare you lecture me on my stance over Glazer when you never even go.

'season ticket holders take up all the seats'

Well, I am so sorry about that. Christ almighty.
